To most families, including the clients of this project, the kitchen is regarded as the heart of the house. The kitchen renovation project for BRK House is set to build on this notion by creating a beautiful setting as a backdrop for everyday life. Light, comfort, elegance and simplicity were the determining guidelines for this project.

 

The project takes on a reductive approach by eliminating unused elements and simplifying the workspace and cabinets to open up the room and bring in more light, warmth, and depth. Material aesthetic plays a key role in transforming the kitchen as wood, brass, ceramic, marble, and glass are fine crafted into various elements, functional pieces, accents and traditional motifs. This gives the space a familiar feel while rendering it as contemporary and functional.
