Untitled I, II, III
Oil on Canvas
Untitled I
A stone pedestal rises from intangible depths to receive morning light. Bound by four pillars that rise to hold a ceiling as heavy as the base, an enchanted space is formed. Sculpted by light, it harbours colours of stone, warm and cool at once, and an ornate pattern that travels its surfaces to unite them as one. What is created is not a confining cage but rather a threshold into boundless space.
Untitled II
An elaborate mental landscape of fine lines and varied tones. Derived by a unique geometric pattern, bound merely by the extents of the canvas, it reflects beautiful colors of Persian silk and recalls adorned textures of antique wood carvings.
Untitled III
A dramatic rendition of light depicts forceful impact. Bold layers of paint and a relentless texture describe an atmosphere of vivid color and cool light, and shadows that communicate different levels of intimacy and depth.
